Memory Verse for March

If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

- 2 Chronicles 7:14

Lent 2020 series begins March 1st

Pastor David Green will use the lessons from Jesus in the Gospel of Luke to help us in our journey to the Cross for this season of Lent.  The Sundays of March1, 8, 15 and 22 will see each sermon highlighting a life lesson that we can all use in today's world.

Hope to see you in worship!

The Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church has mandated that every church in the Conference must have a Safe Sanctuary policy, which meets minimum standards set by the Conference.  Through this program ALL PERSONS WHO WILL WORK WITH CHILDREN OR YOUTH in our church must receive special training aimed at protecting both the children and youth they will serve. They also must undergo a criminal background check through a professional company designated by the Annual Conference for such checks. While all this does occasionally create a hardship for the church in recruiting and maintaining a list of accepted adult leaders, it is testimony to our dedication to the creation of a safe and welcoming environment for the children in our care.  Please contact the church office at 385-5568 for more details or a copy of the complete policy.
